Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Angela Ponomariov, presented the letters of credence to Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, during a ceremony at Buckingham Palace.
The event generated an exchange of views on the Moldovan-British dialogue, as well as the latest international developments. The Ambassador referred to the priorities of her mandate, highlighting the importance of further expanding the good cooperation between the two countries in various areas. „The Republic of Moldova is interested in the multidimensional development of the bilateral relations with the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland”, underlined the Moldovan diplomat.
Also, the ambassador discussed about the winemaking traditions in Republic of Moldova and about the exports of Negru de Purcari to the Royal Court.
Queen Elizabeth II congratulated the Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova, wishing success in her mission and assuring her of the full support of the British side in fulfilling her mandate.
